The Actors Workshop is organized primarily for beginners, semi-trained and working actors, who wish to enhance their training through the exercises and techniques as taught to Mr. Vazquez throughout his training and career.

The class is ongoing, so students on all levels come and begin working on monologues, scenes and exercises. In the professional ranks, seasoned actors work with less talented actors, or less skilled. I encourage learning to work with all students. Students can also work with whom ever they want.

Telephone for an Interview: Prospective students need only telephone for an interview at cell: 917.331.3850 / phone: 917.286.0466.

New students: All new students must have an interview with me. I like to know the level of seriousness, the goals and aspirations of each new person. I want a high level of seriousness in the class. After that interview, Mr. Vazquez will decide if he wishes to work with you and will allow you to audit one class.

Absence: I’d like to be informed when you miss class, because I often times I have work prepared for students. If you miss class, then it changes my class plan. No make-ups.

Work Preparation: Student must always be working on sense memory assignments, monologues and scenes every week to present to the class weekly. This is the only way you’ll get better.

Lateness: It is a good idea to get into the habit of being on time. When you work professionally, being late is heavily frowned upon.

Student protocol: Students can ask me question for which I will answer. Students will not negatively criticize other student’s work.
